How to config DDoS protection on CloudFlare

1. Login to CloudFlare

2. Navigate to Security (1) > Security rules (2) > DDoS protection (3)

3. Find Enable HTTP DDoS attack protection section and click on “Create override”

4. Settings configuration as details on below

  1. Override name: Enter the name of the Override as Standard DDoS Block.
  2. Ruleset action: Select Block to configure the system to block requests that are detected as matching the Ruleset.
  3. Ruleset sensitivity: Select Medium to set the detection sensitivity to a moderate level.
  4. Click Save to save the configuration.

5. After ‘Save’, cloudflare will redirect page back to Security > Security rules > DDoS protection. 

Please make sure ‘Rules HTTP DDoS Protection’ enabled.
